Martha Clary Goforth, age 80 of Grover, North Carolina, passed away on March 23, 2017 at Testa Family Hospice House. Born in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lee Coffey. Martha was retired as a sewer from the textile industry, and worked at both Minette Mills and Kenmont. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church in Grover, NC. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and traveling to Maggie Valley, NC where she was known as "Mama Hill".
SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Susan Black and husband Trent, Grover, NC; Faye Bolin (David Bowen), Blacksburg, SC; Kay Harrelson and husband Junior, Blacksburg, SC. 3 Grandchildren: Ashley Bowen; Chris Logan (Amanda); Matthew Logan (Melissa) 3 Great-grandchildren
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Sunday, March 26, 3pm Shiloh Presbyterian Church, Grover, NC officiated by Rev. William Upchurch.
