Martha Ann Gaddy Johnston, 69, of Kings Mountain, NC, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2024 at her home. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Jack Gaddy and Lona Mae Pearson Gaddy and was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Marlow. Ann worked in textiles prior to working for Cleveland County Schools as a custodian at East Elementary School for more than 15 years until her retirement. Before her declining health, Ann enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time outdoors working in her yard. She loved spending time with her family and was a loving mother, wonderful sister, and doting Maw Maw to her grandchildren. Ann's strength and love was an inspiration and will be lovingly remembered by everyone who knew her.

SURVIVORS: Son: Stevan Robbins and wife Heather, Shelby, NC Grandchildren: Sarah Robbins and Sam Robbins, both of Shelby, NC Siblings: Jimmy Gaddy, Concord, NC and Joy Brown and husband Rocky, Kings Mountain, NC Special Friend: Jeff Baca, Kings Mountain, NC Numerous Nieces and Nephews Many wonderful friends

The family will hold a Memorial Service on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 2:00 PM at The Branch with Reverends Ronnie Wilson and Mike Chambers officiating.
