MARY FRANCES EDENS - Mary Frances Edens, age 86, resident of Lincolnton, NC formerly of Kings Mountain, NC died May 21, 2011 at Cardinal Health Care, Lincolnton, NC. She was born in Greenville Co, SC to the late Christopher Columbus and Sallie Hogan Edens. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Naomi Edens, Evelyn Hawkins and brother Howard Edens. She worked for many years at Mauney Hosiery, Kings Mtn. NC. A member of Kings Mountain Baptist Church, where she was active in the Women's Circle and Sunday School. She was also a member of the Woodman of the World. Ms. Edens was Volunteer of the Year at the Kings Mountain Senior Center

SURVIVORS: Brothers: Col. Robert H. Edens and wife Anne, Sanford, NC C. C. Edens, Jr., Mt. Holly, NC Numerous nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 2:00 P.M. Rev. James Lockridge, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC 28086

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
