Mary Elizabeth Faile Hargett, 83, of Grover, NC, passed away on June 7, 2025 at home. Born June 15, 1941 in York County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Minnie Burgess and George Faile and was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady Earl Hargett, her son, Eddie Hargett, and grandson, Kenny Keeter. Mary liked television, consistently watching Fox News and cooking shows. She diligently read her Bible and was a member at Sparrow Springs Baptist Church for more than 20 years. Mary was an angel; a warm person who loved her family, enjoyed talking, and did the best she could to help anyone and everyone.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Cathy Keeter, Sharon DeBruler (Rick), Susan Boles (Bobby Joe)

Daughter-in-Law: Karen Hargett

Grandchildren: Michelle Chapman (Rich), Bobby Boles, Cody Boles (Autumn), Jake Hargett, Richard Hargett, Jamie Earney, and Lisa

Great-Grandchildren: Maddie Deen, Noah Chapman, Solaire Boles, Shade Viars, Jordan Boles, Joey Boles, Kendall Boles, and numerous other great-grandchildren

Boyfriend: Harold Copeland

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Gene Baites officiating.

VISITATION: Wednesday, June 11, 2025 prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. to 10:50 A.M. in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
