Mary Louise Johnson

MARY LOUISE JOHNSON - Mary Louise Johnson, age 89, resident of Battleforest Apts, Kings Mountain, NC died February 20, 2012 at Abernathy Laurels Retirement Community, Newton, NC. She was born in Cleveland Co, NC to the late William Grayson and Georgia Ross Early. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Rev. Harold "Johnny" Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a devoted Pastor's wife and homemaker who dearly loved her family. A Christian Mother to which everyone in the family looked to for guidance. She attended Arise Church, Kings Mountain, NC.

SURVIVORS: Son: David Johnson and wife Melanie, Holton, MI Brothers: Ed Early, Florida; and Rev. Tom Early and wife Linda, Newton, NC Sisters: Faye Bowlin, Bessemer City, NC; and Joyce Tucker and husband David, Newton, NC 2 Grandchildren: Ben Johnson and Joel Johnson. Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Saturday, February 25, 2012 2:00 P.M. Rev. Tom Early, Rev. Charles Pruitt, and Rev. Curt Harrington, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday evening, February 24, 2012 at Harris Funeral Home and from 12:30 - 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2012 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
