Mary Ann Crouse Kerns

MARY ANN CROUSE KERNS - Mary Ann Crouse Kerns, age 84, resident of 206 Edgemont Drive, Kings Mountain, NC died January 24, 2012 at her home. She was born in Gaston Co, NC to the late Sylvanus Arthur and Maude Rudisill Crouse. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wilmoth Duke "Johnny" Kerns, Sr. and sister Frances Hedden. She was a lifelong and active member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Kings Mtn. where she served on the Altar Guild, Choir, and many other church activities. She was retired from First Union National Bank.

SURVIVORS: Sons: Wilmoth Duke "Butch" Kerns, Jr. and wife Donna, Gastonia Clyde C. Kerns and wife Faye, Kings Mtn. NC 6 Grandchildren: Anna Kerns, Wil Kerns, Ramey Kerns, Lance Corporal Clay Kerns; US Marine Corp. and Alyson Kerns Gray and husband Joey.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Saturday, January 28, 2012 11:00 A.M. Rev. Peter Setzer, officiating.

VISITATION: Immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
