MARY HELEN CHAPMAN LAIL - Mary Helen Chapman Lail, age 72, resident of Shelby, NC passed away October 3, 2014 at her home. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Noah E. Chapman and Beulah Dixon Chapman. She was a member of David Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC and retired from Curtiss-Wright, Shelby NC after 27 years of service.

SURVIVORS: Husband: Virgil Lail, Shelby, NC Daughters: Wendy Vess, Shelby, NC Jennifer Lewis and husband Johnny, Shelby, NC Brother: Jerry Chapman, Kings Mtn. NC Sister: Hazel Graham, Kings Mtn. NC 3 Grandchildren: Katie Lewis, Emily Lewis, and Dylan Vess.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, October 7, 2014 7:00 P.M. Dr. Paul Sorrells, officiating.
