Mary Jane Hollifield Stevenson

MARY JANE HOLLIFIELD STEVENSON - Mary Jane Hollifield Stevenson, age 69, resident of Grover, NC went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2015 at Kings Mountain Hospital, Kings Mtn. NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Lawrence and Mildred Moss Hollifield. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Sammy N. Stevenson. Mrs. Stevenson was retired from Cleveland Co. DSS after 13 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Grover, NC where she was active in the Baptist Women's Group and the Ladies Sunday School Class. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and cooking. Mrs. Stevenson was a strong lady who was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.

SURVIVORS: Son: Michael Scott Stevenson and fiancAC. Amanda Johnson, Grover Daughter: Mary Beth Stevenson Willis and husband Tony, Grover, NC 6 Grandchildren: Austin, Savannah, Lee, Justin, Jordan, and Taylor 4 Great Grandchildren: Jerrod, Jacob, Brittany, and Liam. Beloved Fur Baby: Ginger

FUNERAL SERVICE: First Baptist Church, Grover, NC Sunday, April 19, 2015 4:00 P.M. Rev. John Barnhardt and Mrs. Susan Borders. Officiating.

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:30 P.M. Sunday, April 19, 2015 prior to the service in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Grover Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
