Mary Jo Stewart

MARY JO STEWART - Mary Jo Stewart, age 91, resident of Summit Place of Kings Mountain, NC formerly of Sanford, FL. died peacefully with her daughters by her side. She was born in Fender, GA to the late Benjamin Franklin Burke and Mazie Martha Lucy Armstrong Burke. She was wife of the late Joseph Ainslie Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Lupfer, Ruby McLawhorn, and an infant sister. Mrs. Stewart was a former florist, homemaker, artist and poet who was well loved by her family, friends, and caregivers. She was a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Sanford, FL. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Cleveland County and the staff of the Summit Place of Kings Mtn. for their loving and gentle care of their mother and her family.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Connie Marlowe and husband Steve, Kings Mtn. NC Angie Bolin, Raleigh, NC 5 Grandchildren: Stewart Marlowe, Daniel Marlowe, Allison Williams, Chrissy Rand, and Faith Hacker. 13 Great Grandchildren. Nieces: Sharon Nardo and Diane Bush Nephew: Michael Luper
