Mary Elizabeth Wheeler, 64, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed through the gates of Heaven on May 22, 2023 at her home. She was born in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Tommy and Julia Forbis Yarbrough and was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Butch Yarbrough and her sister, Jane Morehead. Beth was a woman of faith evidenced by her love and generosity for people. She worked for a short time as a tax preparer for H&R Block and for Gaston County Police Department. Beth enjoyed spending time at the beach and crafting. She was very talented and enjoyed creating beautiful crafts for holiday decoration and loved ones. She was an avid collector of music boxes and snow globes, amassing an huge collection over the years. Beth was a devoted homemaker, loving mother and adoring grandmother who enjoyed spending time with the ones she loved most, her family.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 44 years: William Ray "Buck" Wheeler, of the home Children: Amanda Wheeler Cannon (Brian), Shelby, NC, Kristina Wheeler Ledbetter, Kings Mountain, NC, and Jonathan Ray Wheeler, Charlotte, NC Grandchildren: Austin Ray Ledbetter, John Paul Cannon, Anthony Cannon, and Ava Cannon Brother: Dale Yarbrough (Debbie), Hildabrand, NC Beloved Canine Companions, Buddy and Pickles and Feline Companion, Socks
