HAZEL FRADY McKinney
Hazel Frady McKinney, 86, resident of Shelby, formerly of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, passed away at Carolina HeatlhCare System – Cleveland on July 14, 2017. Born in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late William Harold Frady and Ethel Tony Frady. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Albert John McKinney. Hazel was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a strong Christian who loved to work. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Pat Powell and husband Stephen, Gastonia, NC;
1 Grandson: Jason Powell and wife Thera Powell, Asheville, NC
2 Great-grandchildren: Brody Powell and Teaghan Powell
FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, July 18, 2017, 3:00 PM, Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Hames officiating.
VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
