Merrie Nall Hildreth, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, entered her Heavenly home on October 03, 2026 at her home. She was born February 14, 1948 in Frankfurt, Germany, daughter of the late John Ralph Nall Sr. and Waltraud Kathe Schliessmann Nall and was preceded in death by her siblings, John Nall Jr., Walter Nall, Doris Hill, Robert Nall, and Cindy Nall. Merrie was a former charter member of North Gaston Church of God and a current member of 8th Street Church of God in Bessemer City. Merrie loved spending time at church, worshiping the Lord and showing His love to everyone around her. She worked as a cafeteria manager for Gaston County Schools until her retirement. Merrie enjoyed spending time fishing and cherished trips to the beach with her family to pier fish. She was a talented cook and loved cooking big meals for her family and friends. Merrie spent countless hours nurturing her spirit by watching the television ministry of Reverend Jimmy Swaggart. She also enjoyed spending time watching the Food Network shows. Above all, Merrie loved her Lord and cherished her family. She loved nothing more than visits from her children and grandchildren. Merrie's steadfast guidance and love will continue to be cherished by all those who knew and loved her.

Grandchildren: Heather Jolly (Matt Sams), Brandon Jolly (Ashley), Ava Merrie McCutcheon, Austin Hildreth, Gage Hildreth, Jordan Hildreth, Ty Hildreth, and Camden Hildreth

Great Grandchildren: CaraMia Boykin, Mattilynn Sams, Harper Jolly, and Saylor Jolly

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, October 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at 8th Street Church of God, Bessemer City, NC with Reverend Jackie Jenkins officiating

VISITATION: Friday, October 9, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the church prior to the service

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
