Michael "Mike" Jerry Ware

MIKE WARE - Michael Jerry Ware, age 67, a resident of Oak Grove Road, Kings Mountain, NC, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. He was born December 10, 1943 in Kings Mountain, NC. He was son of late Frank C. and Pearl Lovelace Ware. He was also preceded in death by sister Virginia Stone and brother Walter Ware. He was retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation and continued to farm for the remainder of his life. He was a lifelong member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 47 years: Shirley Scism Ware, Kings Mtn, NC Son: Paul Ware and wife Noel, Statesville, NC Daughter: Anita Ware, Gastonia, NC. Brothers: Jack Ware, Shelby, Buford Ware and wife Stella and Bob Ware and wife Betty, all of Kings Mtn. NC Sisters: Annette Webster and husband Bob, Kings Mtn. NC Polly Phifer, Kings Mtn, NC. 4 grandchildren: Hunter Ware and Austin Ware, Kings Mtn. NC Holston Ware and Amelia Ware, Statesville, NC
