Minnie Bentley Williams

MINNIE BENTLEY WILLIAMS - Minnie Bentley Williams, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, age 89 resident of White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain, NC passed away December 24, 2014 at White Oak Manor. She was born in Lincoln Co. NC to the late Shuford Bentley and Ellen Beer Bentley. She was also preceded in death by husband of 27 years, Marion W. Williams; daughter, Vickie Williams and sister, Katherine Peterson. She was the secretary for the Kings Mountain Community Center and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was a Great Mother and everyone loved her.

SURVIVORS: Children: David Williams and wife Priscilla, Cherryville, NC Martha Gilliam and husband Bill, Patterson Springs, NC Mary Ann Williams and husband Charles, Grover, NC Joyce McKinney and husband Walter, Blacksburg, SC Patricia Murray and husband Joseph, Shelby, NC Johnny Williams and wife Wanda, Dallas, NC 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Bethlehem Baptist Church, Monday, December 29, 2014 2:00 P.M. Dr. Steve Taylor, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 29, 2014 prior to the service in the CAC of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
