Myrtle Mae Bowlin

Myrtle Mae Bowlin, 85 , of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023  at her home. She was born in Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late John A. and Macie Bowlin and was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters and a great grandson, Elijah Walker. Myrtle was a faithful member of Victory Life Assembly of God in Cherryville, North Carolina. She enjoyed being active, going to yard sales and spending time at the coast with her family. Myrtle was generous to a fault, and always placed others needs before her own. She loved her family with her whole heart and loved spending time with them. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose spirit, love, and devotion will be missed for all times by those who knew and loved Myrtle.

SURVIVORS: Children: Robby Johnson (Calla), Sheila Walker (Robert), and Chad Johnson (Ann), all of Kings Mountain, NC

Grandchildren: Brandy Wells, Lorie Johnson, Matthew Walker, Brittany Peters, Brandon Johnson, Emily Ledford, Jason Gerecke, Summer Ramsey, Tiffany Waddell, and Christina Waddell

FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larry Johnson officiating

VISITATION: Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
