NADINE BAGWELL - Leatha Nadine Scruggs Bagwell, age 82, of Grover, NC was called home to be with her Heavenly Father, Friday, October 2, 2015 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Her journey ended very peacefully surrounded by family and the singing of hymns. Born in Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late Rev. H.S. Scruggs and Willie Shuford Scruggs. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dot Carrigan. She was an active member of Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church and a former Woman of the Moose, Grand Reagent. She was a graduate of Kings Mountain High School and was retired from Walmart Pharmacy, Shelby and Rexall-Cornwell Drug, Kings Mountain.
SURVIVORS: Loving Husband of 63 years: Charles Leonard Bagwell, Grover,NC. Son: Eric Bagwell, Grover, NC Daughters: Nancy B. Allen Rockman and husband Bob, Lincolnton, NC; Teresa "Terri" B. Neil and husband Johnny, Kings Mountain, NC; Janet B. Kennerly and husband Jimmy, Kings Mountain, NC. Sisters: Gaynell Lail, Lake Wylie, SC; Creola Lail, Shelby, NC Pat Houser, Mt. Gilead, NC. and Tinky Scarborough, Kings Mountain, Debbie Fortenberry, Fort Walton Beach, Florida; 6 Grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, October 5, 2015, 4:00 PM at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church, Cherryville, NC officiated by Rev. Bob Holtsclaw
VISITATION: Sunday, October 4, 2015, 6PM-8PM, Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC.
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC.
