NANCY MARIE MOORE PLONK
- Nancy Marie Moore Plonk, passed away on December 13, 2011 in Martinsville Memorial Hospital. She was born in St. Petersburg, FL on June 6, 1935. She spent her youth in Alexandria and Richmond, VA. She graduated from Westhampton College of the University of Richmond in 1957 and married William McGuire Plonk that same year. She and Bill lived in VA, NC, and SC before settling on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. She received a Master's Degree from the University of Maryland and served as Associate Professor of English at the Eastern Shore Community College. In 2001 they moved to the King's Grant Retirement Community in Martinsville, VA. She was predeceased by her mother Evelyn Anderson Moore, father Elwyn Thedeau Moore, and sister Elizabeth Moore Lacy.
