DATELINE:  GROVER, NORTH CAROLINA Nelson Eddie "Porky" Moss Nelson Eddie Moss, 74, of Grover, NC, passed away on August 29, 2020 at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Rowan County, NC, eleventh child of the late Reid and Catherine Cranford Moss and was preceded in death by his three brothers and two sisters. Nelson was of the Baptist faith. He worked in the transportation industry, driving a truck for more than fifty years. At one time during his career, Nelson worked for Billy Ray Cyrus delivering his equipment and sound system to concert venues. Nelson enjoyed having fun and had a wonderful sense of humor. Always easy going, Nelson enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a generous man and a wonderful and dedicated provider to his loved ones. Porky was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to his beloved who will be missed greatly by his family and many friends.
