Oleene Lockridge Anderson

OLEENE LOCKRIDGE ANDERSON - Oleene Lockridge Anderson, age 89 resident of Kings Mountain, NC passed away on December 23, 2016 at Peak Resources, Shelby, NC. She was born in York Co, SC to the late Samuel Meek Lockridge and Bertie Lee McMurry Lockridge. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Henry Anderson; brothers, James Lockridge, Thomas Lockridge, Meek Lockridge, Calvin Lockridge, Campbell Lockridge, David Lockridge and Sam Lockridge, Jr.; sister, Mary Frances Lockridge Greene. Oleene was formerly employed with Kings Mountain Hospital and as a private caregiver. She was a longtime member of First Wesleyan Church, Kings Mountain, NC where she was a member of the Young at Heart Club and the Wesleyan Women. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 123, Kings Mtn. NC . She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, sister, and friend to all. She was a hardworker and loved all her family.

FUNERAL SERVICE: First Wesleyan Church, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 11:00 A.M. Rev. Don Williams, officiating.

VISITATION: 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 prior to the service in the sanctuary of First Wesleyan Church.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
