Palmer Glenn Moss, Jr

PALMER "GLENN" MOSS, JR. - Palmer "Glenn" Moss, Jr., age 61, resident of 106 Red Oak Drive Cherryville, NC went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2015 at Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Palmer Moss, Sr. and Helen Boheler Moss. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, June Coleman and Becky Moss; and grandchild, Baby Gwinn. Mr. Moss was retired supervisor with STI Kings Plush, Kings Mtn. NC after 35 years. He was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as Deacon, softball coach, and treasurer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone. He loved to fish and was an avid sports fan especially the Carolina Tarheels and New York Yankees.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 10 years: Karen Gregg Moss, Kings Mtn. NC (Glenn was the love of my life) Daughters:LeeAnn Ruppe and husband Jason, Kings Mtn. NC Michelle Gwinn and husband John, Cherryville, NC Brittany Brakefield and fiancAC. Demetrius, Cherryville, NC Sisters: Ann Moss, Morganton, NC Lynn Donaldson and huband Larry, Shelby, NC Sister-in-law: Beverly McSweeney, Easley, SC 4 Grandchildren: Caleb England, Joshua Ruppe, Savanna Ruppe, Isaiah Hope. Nieces and Nephews and cousins.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Midview Baptist Church, 703 Margrace Rd. Kings Mtn. NC Saturday, August 29, 2015 1:00 P.M. Rev. Darrell Alexander, Rev. Timothy Whitaker, and Rev. Michael Rice, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday evening, August 28, 2015 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina other times at the home of the daughter, LeeAnn Ruppe, 108 N. Oriental Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
