Paul "Pete" Childers

PAUL "PETE" CHILDERS - Paul "Pete" Childers, age 66, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died April 10, 2012 at Carolina's Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Dargin and Bessie Biddix Childers. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Childers. He was a member of East Gold Street Wesleyan Church, a mason, and served in the United States Army. Mr. Childers was a retired truck driver with Harris Teeter.

SURVIVORS: Companion: JoAnn Rountree and her daughter, Jaquitha McClellan Kings Mtn, NC Son: Sean Childers, Hawaii Sister: Hazel Hipp, Kings Mtn. NC 1 Grandchild: Chelsey Rucker, Boone, NC A number of Nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICE: East Gold Street Wesleyan Church, Saturday, April 14, 2012 2:00 P.M. Rev. Scott Whitney, officiating

VISITATION: 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 14, 2012 prior to the service in the sanctuary of East Gold Street Wesleyan Church.

INTERMENT with Military Honors provided by the Marine Corp League, Foothills Detachment: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
