Paul A. Roper

PAUL A. ROPER -Paul A. Roper age 79 of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2016 at Testa Family Hospice House. He was born July 15, 1936 in Cleveland Co. NC. He was son of the late William Ivy and Mamie King Roper. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by brothers; Junior Roper, Nelson Roper, and Jimmy Roper, sisters; Lorena Roper Falls, Ivory Roper Nolen, Mary Ruth Roper Pearson, and former wife; Annie Ruth Essary Roper. He was a retired maintenance employee from Haywood Pool and Foote Mineral. He served in the United States Army stationed in Berlin, Germany. He was a member of Grace Methodist Church and He loved gardening, going to the Flea Market, and lawn mowers. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

NC 4 Grandchildren: Chad Wright and wife Rebekah, Heather Allen and husband Brad, Kelly Williams, and Lindsey Wright. 3 Great Grandchildren: Caleb Wright, Ruby Grace Wright, and Skyler Williams. Brothers: Donald Roper, Kings Mtn. NC Michael Roper and wife Gloria, Kings Mtn. NC Sisters: Margaret Payne, Kings Mtn. NC Mildred Shytle and husband Tom, Blacksburg, SC
