DATELINE: KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA NAME: PAULINE LOVELACE BRIDGES - Pauline Lovelace Bridges, age 93, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family singing to her on March 18, 2011. She was born in Lattimore, NC to the late George Nathan and Sarah E. Patterson Lovelace. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry A. Bridges, daughters, Rachel Stewart, Judy Bridges, grandson, Stanley Bridges, granddaughter, Susan Stewart, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. She was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church, Kings Mtn, very active at the Lawrence H. Patrick Senior Center, Kings Mtn. where she volunteered with the meals program, member of the Senior Citizens Band and was the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year in 1990. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. SURVIVORS: Sons: Fred Bridges and wife Doris, Kings Mtn. NC Bill Bridges and wife Louise, Shelby and Lee Bridges and wife Connie, Shelby. Daughters: Nancy Waters and husband Ed, Kings Mtn. Shirley Reichartz, Lillington, NC and Trudy Martin, and husband Scott, Gastonia Brother: George Lovelace, Pineville, NC Sister: Edna Cooper, Boiling Springs, NC Grandchildren: Tammy Truett, Christie Jackson, Anna McCall, Tim Bridges, Craig Bridges, Stacy Dellinger, Shannon Dellinger, Denise Davis, Scott Waters, Leonard Stewart, and Wanda Stewart. 24 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICE: Temple Baptist Church, Monday, March 21, 2011 3:00 P.M. Rev. Scott Carpenter and Rev. David Black, officiating.
VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:30 P.M. Sunday evening, March 20, 2011 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC and at other times at the home of the son, Fred Bridges, 205 Phifer Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086
