Pauline "Polly" Phifer

PAULINE "POLLY" WARE PHIFER - Pauline "Polly" Ware Phifer, age 89, a resident of 209 Rollingbrook Road, Kings Mountain, NC, died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospital. Born in Cleveland Co, NC, daughter of the late Frank C. and Pearl Lovelace Ware, wife of 65 years, to the late Menzell N. Phifer and was also preceded in death by son-in-law, Gene Kaylor, sister-in-law, Peggy Ware, brothers Mike Ware and Walter Ware and sister Virginia Stone, brother-in-law, W.F. Stone. She was retired after 45 years from First Union National Bank, a member of Boyce Memorial ARP Church where she was active in church and Women's Ministries. She was a member of the Open Gate Garden Club and enjoyed making porcelain dolls for friends and family. She loved to cook and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

NC; Buford Ware and wife Stella, Kings Mountain, NC Sisters: Annette Ware Webster and husband Bob, Kings Mtn, NC Sister-in-Laws: Shirley Ware, Kings Mountain, NC and Melba Ware, Kings Mtn. NC 6 Grandchildren: Jennifer Phifer Webster and husband Brian, Cindy Phifer Hagans and husband Trent, Leslie Phifer Hendrick and husband Kelly, Heather Bumgardner, Derick Bumgardner and wife Mandy, and Mary Kaylor Ball and husband Josh. 11 Great Grandchildren: Emily, Johnathon, Abigail, Hattie, Joe, Wade, Casey, Caroline, Sloan, Makayla, and Alex.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Boyce Memorial ARP Church, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 2:00 P.M. Rev. Doug Petersen, officiating. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Wednesday, December 7, 2011 11:00 A.M.

VISITATION: Immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall of Boyce Memorial ARP Church.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
