Pauline Watterson

PAULINE WATTERSON - Pauline Watterson, age 92, resident of Blacksburg, SC, died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain. She was born in York Co., SC, daughter of the late Jimmy Robert and Julia Morris Norman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Hood Watterson, her daughter Kay Bowen, grandson, Allan Watterson, five brothers Max Norman, Roy Norman, Summie Norman, Lester Norman, James Norman and a sister Mary Reed Conner. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Grover where she served as a primary Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir and participated in many other church activities for 45 years. She worked and retired from the Grover school lunchroom after 22 years of service.

SURVIVORS: Sons: Robert Watterson and wife Ruth, Sebring, Fl. Richard Watterson and wife Betty, Lawndale Son-in-law, Jerry Bowen, Blacksburg, SC 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren Sisters: Margaret Smith, Kings Mtn. NC Ruby Huskey, Henrietta, NC

FUNERAL SERVICE: First Baptist Church, Grover, NC Wednesday, September 7, 2011 11:00 A.M. Rev. John Barnhardt, officiating

VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday evening, September 3, 2011 Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain

INTERMENT: Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC
