Pearnell (Goins) Patterson

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Pearnell Goins Patterson Pearnell Patterson, 79, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 03, 2018, surrounded by family at her home in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC , to the late Clyde Goins and Pearl Short Goins and was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Billy Patterson. She was also preceded in death by a brother Chalmer Goins, sisters, Sadie Mae Taylor, Bertha Goins, Thelma Bridges, Inez Bradford, Ruth Putnam and Dorothy Payne and a grandson, Billy Patterson. Pearnell attended God Can Baptist Church in Bessemer City and loved listening to gospel music. She enjoyed working with ceramics and cooking big meals for her family. Pearnell loved spending time surrounded by her loved ones. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. The family would like to offer a special thanks to her caregivers, Joyce Kennedy, LaWanda Funderburke, Dawn Little and her niece, Rachael Ogle. They would also like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Hospice of Cleveland County for their hospitality and care during Pearnell's sickness.
