Phyllis Ware Austin

PHYLLIS WARE AUSTIN - Phyllis Ware Austin, age 80, resident of 601 W. Mountain Street, Kings Mountain, NC died December 23, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, Charlotte, NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late C. D. "Red" Ware and Estelle Hord Ware. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles E. "Bud" Ware. She was a member of Kings Mountain Baptist Church and former owner/operator of Fashion Cleaners. She also worked in several management positions over the years. She has taken care of many people over the years.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 60 years: Gene E. Austin, Kings Mtn. NC Sons: Chuck Austin and wife Lisa, Kings Mtn. NC Brad Austin, Kings Mtn. NC 2 Grandchildren: CJ Austin and wife Brittany, Kings Mtn. NC Cody Austin, Kings Mtn. NC Great granddaughter: Leighton Austin.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Kings Mountain Baptist Church, Sunday, December 28, 2014 3:00 P.M. Rev. Tim Whitesides, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday evening, December 27, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina and at other times friends may come by the home, 601 W. Mountain Street or at the home of Chuck Austin, 201 Oak Grove Road, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
