Phyllis Henderson Campbell

December 12, 1939 — November 10, 2014

PHYLLIS HENDERSON CAMPBELL -Phyllis Henderson Roberts Campbell, age 74, a resident of 503 Allison Court, Kings Mountain, NC, departed this earth and stepped into the arms of Jesus on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Wendover Hospice. She was born in Clover, South Carolina, daughter of the late Henry Loray Henderson and Lillian Camp Henderson and was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward G. Campbell, a brother Steve Henderson and a sister Vivian Henderson Rikard. An active member of First Baptist Church, she taught the 2 year olds Sunday School Class for several years, enjoyed anything the Lord called her to do, in and out of the church and took great pleasure in being able to volunteer at The Community Kitchen at Central United Methodist Church. Phyllis graduated KMHS and 40 plus years she was employed as a legal secretary for attorney Grady Stott at the law firm of Stott, Hollowell, Palmer and Windham, Gastonia, NC.

NC Daughter: Yvette Roberts Cooke and husband David, Trinity, NC Sons: Craig Roberts and wife Karen Ledford Roberts, Greenville, NC Scott Campbell and wife Marsha, Kings Mtn. NC Brother: Rance Henderson and wife Betty, Morganton, NC Sisters: Patricia Henderson Tart, Roanoke Rapids, NC Kay Henderson Davis, Kings Mtn., NC Grandchildren: Austin Cooke and wife Anna Clair Cooke, Hayden Cooke, Amber Cooke, Colton Roberts, Mackenzie Roberts, Sheldon Roberts, Lauren and Summer Campbell Great Grandchild: Judah Cooke

FUNERAL SERVICE: First Baptist Church, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 11:00 A.M. Dr. John Sloan, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, November 11, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
