DATELINE: KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA

NAME: PHYLLIS PATTERSON CHESHIRE - Phyllis Patterson Cheshire, age 93, a resident of 613 E. Ridge Street, died June 2, 2015 at her home. She was born in Cleveland Co., NC, daughter of the late Ira Grady Patterson and Willard Black Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Allyn Cheshire, Jr. and by her sister, Martha Patterson Byrd. She was a 1941 graduate of Erskine College and taught Home Economics at Bethware School in Kings Mountain. Mrs. Cheshire was vice-president for 45 years at Patterson Oil Company in Kings Mountain, a member of Church of Our Savior in Johns Island, SC, a former member of Boyce Memorial ARP Church in Kings Mountain and the Kings Mountain Woman's Club.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: All Saints Episcopal Church, Gastonia, NC Friday, June 5, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. The Reverend Houston Matthews and The Reverend Pat Cheshire, DN

A memorial luncheon will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Boyce Memorial A.R.P. immediately following the morning service.
