Rachel Mae (Rice) Leach

DATELINE:  BLACKSBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA Rachel Mae Leach Rachel Mae Leach, 70, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on February 24, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Frank Edward and Lou Sue Hope Rice and was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over forty-three years, Charles Thomas "Tommy" Leach, and an infant son, John Thomas Leach. Rachel was also preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Rice. She retired from the textile industry after many years of service. Rachel was a member of New Buffalo Baptist Church in Grover. She was dedicated to her faith and showed her Christ-like love for people everyday. Rachel loved cooking for her loved ones and enjoyed collecting recipes from books and magazines. She was a wonderful and loving mother and sister. Her absence from this world will leave a void in the hearts of her family until they are reunited with her in heaven.
