Ray Odell Bridges

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Ray Odell Bridges Ray Odell Bridges, 80, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain. He was born in Graham County, NC, to the late Hoyle James Bridges and Helen Norris Bridges and was preceded in death by siblings, Charles, Jimmy, Frank, Billy and Mary Lou. Ray was a member of Crestview Baptist Church for the past 21 years. He was the owner and operator of Ray's Tire and Alignment in Kings Mountain for 27 years. Ray served his country honorably for 7 years as a mechanic in the US Army. He enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races with his loving wife, Evelyn. Ray was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. He will be missed greatly by his loving family, his friends, and the community.
