Raymond Edward "Buddy" Jordan

RAYMOND EDWARD "BUDDY" JORDAN -Raymond Edward "Buddy" Jordan, age 75, a resident of 205 High Street, High Shoals, NC., went to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 20, 2016 surrounded by his family. The family would like to thank our family for being with Dad during his illness and the support that was given to us. Especially his sister-in-law, nephew and nieces that shared their time with us. Son of the late Rufus Jordan and the late Sara Maples Jordan and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rufus Jordan and Kenneth Jordan. He retired after twenty-eight years from Cookson Rolling Door Company of Gastonia. A member of Four Square Gospel Church, Lincolnton, he served as an active member and served as an alderman. He was a person who loved his family and was also an avid golfer and loved to travel.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 54 years, Carol Taylor Jordan, High Shoals, NC Daughters: Sheila J. Carringer and husband, Philip, Almond, NC Dorothy J. Miller and husband, Robert, High Shoals, NC Granddaughter: Emily Jordan Miller Sister: Irence Justice, Gastonia, NC Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
