Reba Jeanette Camp Hudson

Reba Jeanette Camp Hudson, aged 80, of Grover, NC, passed away on October 6, 2026, at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. Born on April 19, 1946, in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Max and Ruby Williams Camp. Reba was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 47 years, Tommy Hudson, a daughter, Tammy Hudson, her brothers Leonard, Hugh, and James Camp and a son-in-law, Gene Bledsoe. A devoted member of Midview Baptist Church, Reba spent her time joyfully participating in church activities, from assisting with children's programs to helping with Bible school and any other task that needed fulfilled. Her passion for adventure was evident in her love for church trips and her visits to the mountains. Reba dedicated many years of service to the Cleveland County School System, where she worked in the cafeteria, helping feed hungry children and touching the lives of many. Her artistic talents shone through her crafts, and she found joy in outdoor activities, particularly raising chickens and spending cherished moments with her canine companions, Josie, Izzy, and Rivers. She was known for her sweet spirit and warm smile, Reba was a wonderful mother and grandmother to three generations and a beloved friend to countless others. Her memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, October 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Midview Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Rice officiating

VISITATION: Monday, October 12, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM prior to the service at the church

INTERMENT: Grover Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
