Rebecca Gladden Champion

REBECCA GLADDEN CHAMPION - Rebecca Gladden Champion, resident of Summerset Court, Shelby, NC went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Marion and Ethel Jane Camp Gladden. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Fay Champion, Sr. She was a member of Westwood Heights Baptist Church and a homemaker.

SURVIVORS: Son: William "Bill" Fay Champion, Jr. and wife Evelyn, Shelby, NC Daughter: Robbin Renee Bridges, Shelby, NC Brother: Jimmy Gladden, Waynesville, NC 2 Grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, and 5 Great Grandchildren.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Sunset Cemetery, Shelby, NC Thursday, December 1, 2011 2:00 P.M. Dr. Dennis Bingham, officiating.

VISITATION: Family will speak to friends immediately following the service in the cemetery.

INTERMENT: Sunset Cemetery, Shelby, North Carolina
