Rebecca Smith Huntsinger, 73, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on May 14, 2023 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. Rebecca was the daughter of the late Walter and Katie Stoglin Smith and was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Jerry Wilson Huntsinger and her children, Suzanne Hayden and Jerry Huntsinger Jr. She was a faithful Christian woman and displayed her faith through her kindness, patience and love for others. Rebecca was a generous person and was always looking for ways to help others. Her lifelong career as a teacher allowed her to shape the minds and hearts of countless children throughout the years. Rebecca was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved her.

SURVIVORS: Siblings: Margaret Evans, Grace Brendle, Ronald Smith and John Smith Grandchildren: Heather Huntsinger, Joshua Huntsinger, and Christopher Huntsinger Great Grandchildren: Chloe Faircloth, Parker Faircloth, Malachi Huntsinger, Coraline Huntsinger, Gabriella Pursley, Alyssa Deal, and Annie Hyman

MEMORIAL SERVICE: The family will conduct a memorial service on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 6:30 PM at Battleground Church located at 309 South Battleground Avenue, Kings Mountain, NC
