Rev. Dewey E. Rice

REVEREND DEWEY E. RICE - Reverend Dewey Elves Rice, age 85, a resident of 1022 Cleveland Ave. Grover, NC, died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain, NC. He was born in Denver, Ky., son of the late Warnie E. and Stella G. May Rice. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Noralee Jewell Rice, 1 grandson, 5 brothers and 1 sister. He was a retired barber, a licensed minister and a talented musician. Mr. Rice was a member of Bethel House of Prayer in Clover, SC and was also a veteran of WW II serving in the United States Army Air Force. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather that was loved by all and who never met a stranger.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Tanya Sue "Susie" Muter and husband David, Grover Malinda Gulledge and husband Donnie, Gastonia 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren
