Rev. Johnny Wayne Mote, Sr

REV. JOHNNY WAYNE MOTE, SR. - Rev. Johnny Wayne Mote, Sr. age 57, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died April 10, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center, Lincolnton, NC. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late E. B. Mote and Virginia Chambers Mote. He was also preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Mote. Rev. Mote was former Pastor of Water of Life Ministries. He was musically talented, playing several different instruments. He was a Godly man, family oriented, loving father and grandfather and loved fishing.

SURVIVORS: Sons: Johnny Mote, Jr., Gastonia, NC Joshua Mote, Shelby, NC Daughters: Virginia Mote Sims and husband Steve, Shelby, NC Jessica Mote, Columbia, SC Tisha Mote, Gastonia, NC Brothers: Billy Mote, Jimmy Mote, and Rev. Tony Mote, all of Kings Mtn. NC Sister: Shirley Adkins, Kings Mtn. NC 14 Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 4:00 P.M.

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:30 P.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
