RICHARD VANCE ALLEN

-Richard Vance Allen, age 75, resident of Grover, NC went to be with his Lord on July 24, 2016 at Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC. He was born in Gaston Co. NC to the late Willard Allen and Arpy Grissom Allen Cox. Mr. Allen was a self-employed truck driver and member of New Buffalo Baptist Church, Grover, NC. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 46 years: Lela Cook Allen, Grover, NC Sons: Rex Allen and wife Sharon Putnam Allen, Kings Mtn. NC Keith Allen and wife Susan, Richmond Hill, GA Daughter: Penny Allen Buchanan and husband Brian, Gastonia, NC Sister: Kay Campbell and husband Johnny. 6 Grandchildren: Austin Allen, Hunter Allen, Johnnie Stewart, Carrington Allen, William Dekker and Allison Dekker. 3 Great Grandchildren: Sophie Stewart, Zak Stewart and Austin Stewart.

FUNERAL SERVICE: New Buffalo Baptist Church, Grover, NC Tuesday, July 26, 2016 11:00 A.M. Rev. Adam Green, officiating

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday evening, July 25, 2016 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina other times at the home.

INTERMENT: New Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
