NAME: RICHARD LEE BELL - Richard Lee Bell, age 89, a resident of 238 Press Sweezy Road, Kings Mountain, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home. He was the son of the late William Lawrence and Pearl Ware Bell and was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Bell and son-in-law, Mike Smith. He retired from the textile industry and was a farmer who loved gardening and fixing things and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Richard's special caregiver Shelley Brackett and special friend Jay Greene.

Daughters: Glenda Bell Smith, Kings Mountain, NC Phyllis Brackett and husband, Rev. Carroll Brackett, Roxboro, NC

Brother: Joe Bell, Kings Mountain, NC Sister: Geneva Dedmon, Kings Mountain, NC

Sister-in-Law: Janice Bell, Kings Mountain, NC

Grandchildren: Shelley Brackett, Kings Mountain, NC Donnie Brackett, Gastonia, NC Great Grandchildren: Jamie Greene, Jesse Greene, Mikeal Greene

FUNERAL SERVICE: Oak Grove Baptist Church, Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 2:00 P.M.. Rev. Travis Northcutt and Rev. Carroll Brackett, officiating.

VISITATION: Family will receive friends in the Sanctuary, 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. Prior to the service.

INTERMENT: Oak Grove Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC
