Richard A. "Rick" Laws

RICHARD A. "RICK" LAWS - Richard A. "Rick" Laws, age 64, resident of 1145 Old Post Road, Cherryville, NC died June 12, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC. He was born in Gaston Co. NC to the late Jess and Beatrice Laws Barnes. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Gary Barnes and Ronald Barnes, and sister Deborah Barnes. Mr. Laws was retired from Spectrum Dyed Yarns, Kings Mtn. NC and was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 45 years: Laura England Laws, Cherryville, NC Daughters: Crystal Brown and husband Jason, Cherryville, NC Angela Hatch, Cherryville, NC 6 Grandchildren: Brandon Hatch, Payton Hatch, Taylor Moore, Chris Moore, Jr., Caleb Brown, and Madison Brown.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Friday, June 15, 2012 2:00 P.M. Rev. Eric Alexander, officiating.

VISITATION: 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Thursday evening, June 14, 2012 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
