Robert Scott Murray, 59, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on December 27, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. He was born in Rutherford County, NC, son of the late Robert Nicholas Murray. Scott was also preceded in death by his mother, Katie Lou Smith Costner, step-father, Grady Costner and brother, Marvin Murray. Scott was a dedicated employee and Team Leader at Wix Filters for thirty-eight years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and was a member of the Windjammers Motorcycle Club for twenty years. Scott enjoyed riding his golf cart around the "Ridge" and spending time with his grandchildren who were always the center of his world. He was a wonderful husband and father who will be missed greatly by his family and many friends.

SURVIVORS: Wife of thirty-three years: Jean Whitlock Murray, of the home Sons: Jason Murray and Josh Murray and wife Bridget, both of Kings Mountain, NC Grandchildren: Brayden and Maddox Murray

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Harris Funeral Home
