- Robert Ernest Ware, Jr., age 89, a resident of 610 Meadowbrook Road, Kings Mountain, NC, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain, NC. He was a native of Cleveland County, son of the late Robert Ernest and Essie Smith Ware, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Cleo Cox Ware, a daughter, Janice Carroll, a sister, Margaret Ware and a brother Eddie Ware. He retired from the United States Post Office and was a former employee of Kings Mountain District Schools. He served in the US Navy during WW II in the Pacific Theatre.

Grandchildren: Seth Davis and Jace Wise
FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Saturday, June 9, 2012 At 2:00 P.M. Rev. Scott Whitney, officiating. With Full Military Honors provided by the Foothills Detachment Marine Corp League
VISITATION: 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
