Robert John Toscano, 67, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 10, 2024 at his home. He was born in Rockland County, NY, son of the late Michael and Dorothy Connor Toscano and was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Toscano Jr. Bob served the United States faithfully as a Special Forces Sniper qualified operator in the US Army. A jack of all trades, Bob worked as a mechanic in the automotive, diesel, and aircraft industry. For a time, he worked as an elevator installer and a truck driver, satisfying his desire to travel. Bob excelled at everything he set his mind to, from working on hot rod cars, to being a husband and father. He loved making people laugh. Your day always seemed better when Bob was around. He was an avid music lover, quick witted, and always ready to lend a hand. Bob was a wonderful husband, present and loving father, and doting grandfather and great grandfather.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 45 years: Jackie Merchant Toscano, of the home Children: Bobby Toscano (Tysha), Gastonia, NC, Nicole Mikalunas (Colt), West Edmeston, NY, and Kathleen Toscano, Kings Mountain, NC Grandchildren: Areanna Toscano (Frankie Closi-Toscano), Nicholas Toscano, Samuel Toscano, Nathan Crawford, Cadance Mikalunas, and Brendan Toscano Great Grandchildren: Aradia and Nova Toscano

Sisters: Patricia Bourne (Ronald), and Kimberly Demarest

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel

VISITATION: Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
