Robert "Bobby" Ray Alexander

DATELINE: GASTONIA, NORTH CAROLINA Robert Ray Alexander Robert Ray Alexander, 80, of Gastonia, NC, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022 at his home. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Ray Gordan and Martha Ganell Hensley Alexander and was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Alexander and two sisters, Patricia Hyder and Cindy Alexander. Bobby was employed by Plantation Pipeline for more than 50 years. Bobby enjoyed staying busy and working with his hands. He enjoyed gardening and spending countless hours outside doing yard work. Bobby was always a "man's man"  and never complained about anything that bothered him. He was a generous person and had a heart of gold. His family was always at the center of Bobby's life and he loved spending every moment he could with them. Bobby will be remembered forever for his strength, guidance, and the love he had for his family and friends.
