-Ronald Gene Hamrick, age 73, a resident of Kings Mountain, NC, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Testa Hospice House, Kings Mountain, NC. Born in Gaston County, NC, son of the late Leon "Whitey" Hamrick and Marie Guyton Hamrick and was also preceded in death by tow brothers, Reid Hamrick and Joe Hamrick. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC and retired from Lithium FMC after 27 years of service. He was a disable veteran of the US Army and served in the Vietnam War.

SURVIVORS:Wife of 48 years, Wilma Brown Hamrick, Kings Mountain, NC Sons: Ronald "Leroy" Hamrick, Jr.,Kings Mountain, NC Ernest "Ernie" Hamrick and fiancAC., Regina Bolin, Gastonia, NC Sister: Anarah "Toonie" Deviney, Tommy, Kings Mountain, NC Brothers: Dr. James Leon "Hambone" Hamrick, and wife Diana, Kings Mountain, NC, Robert Keith "keeter" Hamrick and wife Pat, Kings Mountain, NC John Wayne Hamrick and wife Sherry, Kings Mountain, NC Sister-in-Laws: Sylvia Hamrick and Linda Hamrick Grandson: Zachary Hamrick, Charlotte, NC GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Cleveland Memorial Park, Shelby, NC, Saturday July 9, 2016 with full military honors provided by the Foothils Detachment Marine Corp League and the U.S. Army. Dr.James Hamrick, Rev. Scott Carpenter and Rev. Leon Styles, officiating.
