Rose Marie Humphreys Huffstetler

- Rose Marie Humphreys Huffstetler, age 84, a resident of the Pines at Davidson, Davidson, NC, died May 5, 2016 after a very creative, giving and nurturing life. She was married to her high school sweetheart, the late Re, Dr. Boyce Huffstetler for 64 years. She was born to the late James Martin and Odell Dellinger Humphreys. She was also preceded in death by her eldest brother Edward Humphrys. As a minister’s wife, Rose Marie faithfully served with her late husband numerous congregations throughout the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Her life was dedicated to supporting her husband in his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From teaching Sunday School to serving on domestic and international building teams, Rose Maries’s life was expressed in serving others, especially the needs of her children.

Two Great Grandchildren: Luke and Eliza Huffstetler.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Davidson United Methodist Church, Monday, May 9, 2016 2:00 P.M. Rev. Dr. Jody Seymour, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 9, 2016 prior to the service at Davidson United Methodist Church.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
