Rosie Lee Smith

ROSIE LEE SMITH - Rosie Lee Smith, age 95, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2015 at Cleveland Pines, Shelby, NC. She was born in Gwinnett Co, GA to the late Oscar and Lizzie Boles. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Roy Smith and her brothers and sisters. Mrs. Smith was retired from Margrace Mills and a former member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She loved sewing, quilting, cooking, playing the piano, singing, and working in her flower garden. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first and will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Son: Larry Dean Smith and wife Doris, Burlington, NC Daughters: Rosann Hovis, Lincolnton, NC Jackie Curtis and husband Wayne, Ellenboro, NC Sandra Hensley and husband James, Kings Mtn. NC 9 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 2:00 P.M. Rev. Robbie Moore, officiating.

VISITATION: Family will speak to friends immediately following the service in the cemetery.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
