Ruby Hollifield Kennedy

RUBY HOLLIFIELD KENNEDY - Ruby Hollifield Kennedy, age 87, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2015 at Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mtn. NC. She was born in Rutherford Co. NC to the late Phillip B. Hollifield and Annie Bell Sisk Hollfield. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Freno Lawson Kennedy; brothers, Roy Heckard Hollifield, Robert Hollifield, Jerry Baxter Hollifield, Mickey Sisk; Sister, Louise Hollfield. Mrs. Kennedy was an active member of Christian Freedom Baptist Church and was retired from Burlington Mills, Kings Mtn. NC after 40 years of service. Mrs. Kennedy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who loved to take care of children.

SURVIVORS: Daughter: Luann K. Bryant and husband Danny, Kings Mtn. NC Sisters: Judy Harmon and husband Steve, Kings Mtn. NC Diane Hughes, Kings Mtn. NC 1 Grandchild: Josh Bryant and wife Katie, Kings Mtn. NC Sister-in-law: Marie Sisk, Inman, SC Special Caregiver: Sissy Toney Special Nephew: Blaine Hollifield She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 2:00 P.M. Rev. Eric Sellers, officiating.

VISITATION: 12:30 - 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina. You are welcome to come by the house of the daughter, Luann Bryant.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
