DATELINE: KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA RUTH MOORE LADD Ruth Moore Ladd, 84 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 31, 2017 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain, NC. Born in Cherokee County NC, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Thomas Moore and Nora Ensley Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dale Ladd and was also preceded in death by one brother, Ray Moore and two sisters, Helen Stroupe and Frances Mathis. Ruth attended First Wesleyan Church in Kings Mountain. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry, and crocheting. She was a retired hairdresser, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
