SAMMY N. STEVENSON - Sammy N. Stevenson, age 65, resident of 103 Springdale Drive, Grover, NC died February 27, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC. He was born in Allendale, SC to the late Walter Boyd Stevenson, Sr. and Hazel Harter Stevenson. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Dennis Stevenson and Walter Boyd Stevenson, Jr. He was an active member of First Baptist Church, Grover, NC where he was a member of the Senior Men's Sunday School Class. He was a retired salesman and member of the Stateline Masonic Lodge. A loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved to fish and draw.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 47 years: Mary Jane Hollifield Stevenson, Grover, NC Son: Michael Scott Stevenson, Grover, NC Daughter: Mary Beth S. Willis and husband Tony Willis, Sr., Grover, NC 5 Grandchildren: Austin Willis, Savannah Willis, Lee Willis, Justin Willis, and Jordan Willis.

FUNERAL SERVICE: First Baptist Church, Grover, NC Wednesday, February 29, 2012 4:00 P.M. Rev. John Barnhardt, officiating

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, February 28, 2012 at Harris Funeral Home and other times at the home of the daughter, Beth Willis.

INTERMENT: Grover Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
